Hi. Can anyone advise current state of crossing from France into Spain at Le Perthus/La Jonquera. Have the borders been put back and are there delays in going back and forth as we will be using this crossing frequently in the coming weks

I've asked friends, who live near our little 'place in the sun', and who regularly cross the border for a meal, or some shopping, what the current situation is, and I'll get back to your when I have some replies.
Just had a reply, to say that 'all security from Perpignan south has been stepped up, including body searches of those trying to enter the funfair at Perpignan and delays at the border'
Went over to La Jonqera on Sunday. Straight out of France with no problems. Coming back took over an hour due mainly to fact that people were using the filter lane to undertake the main queue and then forcing in at top. Lots of police with guns etc. Lorry queue on motorway was kilometers long. Probably quicker during week as shopping centre was packed!!
