Hi,
We go every year to Les sablons but use eurotunnel (tesco vouchers) & use chain hotels next to the autoroute with gated car parks, which feel safer with the folding camper. This year we're stopping at montlucon at the ibis, & then les rivages, millau , for 5 nights then les sablons. Going home, we'll stay at la filature, north of Clermont for a few nights, last night at bien assise, then home. It depends which route you're taking from Caen & whether you are towing or motor homing where you stop. Enjoy les sablons, it's a great place!
