We will be driving from Dieppe and looking for accommodation outside Amiens, preferably on or near the A29 as we are going to Villers-Bretonneux. It will be for just one night and I am happy to do a motorway hotel or something like that.
Please advise me and please be gentle. We will be terribly jetlagged when the time comes.
Many thanks in advance.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Its also worth looking at the big chain websites directly, sometimes they're not on booking.com etc
If there's 4 of you then hotel bb are worth looking at, most of the hotels have family rooms with a double and 2 singles. There is one outside of Amiens.
Watch the bathroom with them tho. The toilets and showers are very clean but often shared and not ensuite.
Booking.com is a great site and does list many of the other motel chains. If you search on Amiens, then click on any old hotel, to the left is a map, click on that and it will show all the hotels around Amiens. Dunno why there isn't a simple option for map view. The exact location is usually the most important criteria for me when looking for a hotel.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
