Hi
All I leave for Spain next week and we are driving from Santander to pillar de Le Horadad down south and I was wondering has anyone any advice on a stop around 2 hours from Santander on the way down. Also is it feasible to stop in the services overnight.

Burgos has a couple of sites ... and a pleasant enough town for an evening stroll ... cathedral is worth a visit.

Would second using Burgos, we used Camping Fuentes Blancas

Its a good couple of hours from Santander so makes it about the time you are looking for.

Personally wouldn't stop overnight at services in Spain, many do for sure but you are much safer on a campsite.
