Berriow, I guess you don't have a dog! For us it would be a spacious site with somewhere close by to exercise a dog - preferably off the lead. Not too much traffic and also owners (and by definition, campers) who are not dog haters!
Even better if dogs are not charged for.
Gingerglamper, you don't say when you are going, but the ACSI guides indicate whether sites take dogs or not and most don't charge for one, or even two canine friends.------------- Freedom is a light caravan and an open road.
