Just be aware
You must display a Motorway Vignette on the inside of the windshield of your vehicle as you enter Austria. Please note, the vignette must be stuck to your windshield in order to be valid. Failure to do so will mean a heavy, on-the-spot fine.
Stickers can be obtained from the Austrian Automobile Clubs as well as post offices, newsagents and petrol stations. You can also purchase stickers in Austria's neighboring countries at petrol stations, borders and Automobile Clubs. or Here

Stayed at campsite at Nattersee last year. Lovely site close to Innsbruck. Site gives you a pass for the local buses to allow you to get into Innsbruck. Great value site in using the ACSI card. We stayed for 7 days in mid May and had really good weather, hot and sunny. The trip on the cable car from the centre of Innsbuck is highly recommended.
As mentioned you must display the motorway vignette although this is not as expensive as Switzerland as you can buy a tourist one which is valid for 15 days.
You will enjoy Austria. Mountains and famous cities. Campsites are usually of a very high standard especially toilet facilities. Best to take a two pin adaptor as not all sites use CEE17 blue three pin connectors. Usually excellent public transport. Quite a few road works at present especially between Munich and Salzburg which can cause a few delays.
We go to Austria every year with the caravan for 13 years and are there at the moment it is a wonderful country with very friendly people and stunning countryside. Which part are you visiting? If you like to email me here dvphillips14 at hotmail.com I will give you lots of info. More than I can get on a post.
