When you look at campsite addresses , they usually end in

F followed by five or six numbers . Is this equivalent to our post code in terms of using a sat nav? (we've just got one )

Any particular tips in setting sat navs for campsites in France?

Yes, it is the postcode.
I always input the full address or follow the instructions in a camp site guide though.
French postcodes cover larger areas than those in the UK so are pretty useless on their own.
Alternatively, many guide books give you the map coordinance and you can input this on most modern sat-navs.

French postcodes cover a very large area, so not accurate. I usually put in full address, or go on google earth and get the coordinates and input those.
