We're crossing via the tunnel with an overnight stop at Limoges. We were there this summer and we loved it so much we decided to go back. We tried to book direct, but had no response from them, so booked through the C&C Club instead.

Hi exessexmum hope your well, we were in Provence in October and it was great weather, went swimming even in the camp pool in Aix en Provence, beautiful part of the world. 1st time we had actually stayed in the area and loved it. Will be back in 2018.

Will France be ready for you by 2018? They will probably still be laughing about the rugby.
If you like the Provence area, have a look at the Nyons area.
It is immediately north of Provence, with more sunshine and less wind because of the Ventoux mountains, it has nicer and cheaper wine and far fewer tourists than further south.
We wander around France and Spain each year, and seem always to end up in this area at some time, if only to top up booze.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

Well yes, when I say Provence, this is where we are actually going. We've got a gite in Vinsobres, just outside Nyons. The pool has a lovely view across to Mt Ventoux....which hubby is planning on cycling up.

Whilst idiot husband is trying to kill himself by cycling the Tommy Simpson route up Ventoux, you should pop along to a nice little vinyard between Visan and Valreas, called Domaine des Lauribert.
It is run by a young(ish) pair of brothers Laurent and Albert Sourdon.
Laurent has young twin daughters, after each of whom he has named a cepage.
The "Lisa" is a wonderful grenache rosé and"Louilou" was a rather sweet sauvignon.
Beware. They roll out these two little girls, along with grandma, who ask you which do you prefer and then just stare at you.So you end up with a bottle of each!
Later you go back for a couple of cases of "Lisa"
