Very much dependent on when you are taking your holiday & how long you are going for. If July & August probably not worth getting a card. Outside those times it may well be worth it depending on the sort of sites you want.
I don't prefer to use toll roads, others do. I don't like paying. I'm not in a hurry & I'm towing a caravan no faster than 55mph.
Also French autoroutes are boring & dangerous with nutters sitting on your bumper at 80mph & eastern European truck drivers who ain't slept for 2 days so I'd rather see the countryside & buy my dinner & diesel cheap from supermarkets but others might be in a hurry to get there which is fair do's if they only have a fortnight's hol so your choice.
