Brian, I have not stayed at that site, but what I do is look on Google maps and "walk" to give me some idea.

A lovely area to be, and they have a few "Stones"   😀👍

We stayed there in 2010 for 2 weeks, buses could be used but you had to walk to the main road about 5 mins away to catch one. It is the main road from Auray and the motorway; so is very busy and i wouldnt like to stand waiting on a hot busy day too risky especially if you have kids, you can walk/cycle through the back lanes it is about 2-3 miles and will take you through the stones on your way. It is flat so an hours stroll will get you into Carnac and the beach. Hope this helps Jim

We stayed a Les Moustoir a few times, mainly because it was a Camping Cheques site. Site was fine but the last time we stayed there much of the site had been taken over with statics. Pitches were a bit worn but in fairness it was early season. Site is about 11/2 miles from beach.
The last three or four times in Carnac we have stayed at Les Druids an Acsi site. Very pleasant site assorted pitches serviced pitches at a bit extra but early season I don't think we paid the surcharge. Handy for the lovely beaches, particularly Le Mendu, great for swimming, mucking about in dinghies and shellfish. It is also well maintained and the pool area pleasant for sunbathing and a cooling dip.
Carnac is a nice resort with many other lovely places to visit.

The standing stones are worth a visit - compared to Stonehenge they don't get the publicity that they deserve.

We stayed there last year and cycled to the beach or town every day. There are two routes, but the quickest is along a busy road. I would think it was a bit far to walk to be honest. Nice site though.
