Hi, touring in the MH around France for the first time and thinking of nosing around the Atlantic coast, using Aires etc.
Any tips for a nice route to Nantes from Dieppe with a few interesting/nice stops on the way?
In no rush to get anywhere, as we are in France for about a month with our 10 and 14 year old kids.
Thanks

I think children of the age that yours are might be more interested in the Bayeux tapestry just along the road from Caen. But give them a briefing first to say what it's all about. Good luck.

Etretat just down the coast - great beach and cliff walks
Honfleur - port area and restaurants
Deauville - beach and people watching
Cormeille - inland a bit but the best old fashioned "high street" of shops we've found
Lisieux - basilica
Hi are you looking at turning round at Nantes and coming back? if so, consider holding back 3-4 days, and you could come off coast road at pontchateau, head for the st Nazaire bridge, head for old docks, their are the old submarine pens, an old german "u" boat and visitor centre, then back on the road,go over the St Nazaire bridge, fabulous views over the Loire estuary, "not for you,you will be concentrating on the driving" you will see one of the worlds biggest cruise ships nearing completion, once over you can go towards St Jean De Monts with its miles of fabulous beaches, loads of parking for motorhomes, then cut inland for approx 1.5 hours to the Pou De Fou theme park, you need two days to do it properly, see videos on youtube, drive back up to Nantes and visit the Ille Des Machines, again plenty of parking, and would be great for the kids.
