Hi,
We've come to France camping and have happily used an extension lead bought in a supermarket for the last few weeks. We forgot to bring a continental convertor for our EHU. Next week we think we will need to use it since the campsite recommends 25m. Does anyone know if you can buy the convertor in France please?
Pauline

Most campsites would/do have the two pin connector that they would loan out, so they must be readily available.
Why not phone them and ask if they have one to borrow.

Ok thank you. We'll ring ahead - last week the campsite couldn't help, but fingers crossed.

We've always found that campsites have an extension lead, or a two pin adaptor, if they are required. Sometimes they offer them with a charge, otherwise you pay a small deposit and get it back when you return it. Shops such as Narbonne Accessories will have a lead if you get absolutely stuck, or any local caravan/motorhome dealer.

2pin adaptors usually available in the motoring bits section of large French supermkts such as Leclercs.

or you could just go to any brico shop and buy the two pin fitting and remove your uk plug and replace with the French one. its only a plug !!!!
