Hi,
We are travelling to France at the end of the week by Eurotunnel with our two dogs and caravan. Can anyone tell me what the check-in procedure is as it's not clear (well at least to me) from the website whether you go to the pet reception first or the self service check in where you print out your boarding pass. We have a large twin axle van and don't want to find ourselves having to manoeuvre in a tight space coz we've gone the wrong way. It looks like it's a fairly straightfoward process but as we've never done it before would appreciate some advice.

Also, just wanted to reassure you its really straightforward. When you drive up to the check in booth it automatically prints your ticket for you. When you get to the carpark there are lots of spaces for caravans and a fenced off area to let your dog have a stretch.
Coming back similar procedure except you go into the pet reception which can take anywhere between 2mins - 20mins (on extremely busy days).

it really is very easy, leaving the uk the dogs dont even have to get out of the car...neither do you.
Coming back from france, as you go up the slip road from the motorway to the check in, keep to the right (as pets check in is on the right before you get to check in, it is very well signposted on the overhead gantry) 50m you'll turn right again and into a large car park. You take your pets into the reception with their passport & the people behind the counters will hand you a hand held scanner to scan for your pets chip, pass it back, they check it against the passport and make sure they've had their tablet correctly, hand you the passport and piece of paper back and off hyou go, going out the way you came (plenty of room to turn around) and then turning right again at the end of the road to join the ckeck in queues.
Caravan parking is at the far side of the terminal buldings and are a drive in;drive out arrangement.

They're south of the D943 in Ardres. it's behind a Peugeot Garage and tricky to see from the road, but just get behind the garage and you'll see it. plenty of parking although not suitable to take a caravan in
