Hi all, I'm new to this site but was hoping for some advice,
I'm looking for a campsite in Spain that has large pitches and private bathroom. I've so far only managed to find one (l'amfora ) I've stumbled on this website while searching for campsites and was hoping someone may know or advise where to look.
thankyou
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
The pitches at L'Amfora which have private bathrooms are nicely sited towards the beachside area of the site and are huge.
From the Eurocampings website (not Eurocamp the tour operator) there are 25 sites with 'individual sanitary facilities' but don't assume that these will necessarily be on the pitch. Some sites offer a key to your own area which is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. However, it should give you a start in locating those which fit your requirements.
Have you stayed at L'Amfora?
The photos and reviews are very good, I'm struggling with getting prices, it seems their website isn't working properly.
we have a very large tent and the photos show the largest pitches not being very wide but it could just be a bad photo!
I will have a look at the eurocamping website, Thankyou again.

Seems ok now...
EG: 180m2 with 10A EHU + Private sanitary - between 6th July to 20th August = €91 per night!
EG: 90m2 with 10A EHU + private sanitary - between 18th April to 23rd May = €27 per night.
That's pitch only, and persons/dogs/additional cars etc need to be added.
Other prices for other pitch types and "extras" etc, (and some special offers) for all 2019... PDF Tarrifff page...

We have stayed at L'Amfora, but on a standard pitch. The newest toilet block is as good as a five star hotel! Our pitch was plenty big enough for car, caravan, awning, and outside loungers, table and chairs, but was only a standard size pitch. The private facilities pitches are quite long, but I would think plenty big enough for a good size tent - but with facilities as good as they are in the new block, personally I wouldn't bother.
Yes, Caceres is great, but the OP has a large tent and the pitches at Caceres are gravel, so wouldn't be suitable. As I recall there is a grassy tent camping area at the rear of the site, but not with private bathrooms.
