Odd question I know, but only recently got into gin. I prefer the flavoured tonic water like elderflower. Never noticed these in French supermarkets but then again wasn’t looking. So can I get some en France or do I need to stock up before I go?

In 'posh' Delis and local fancy Epiceries (in tourist areas) I've seen Fever Tree Elderflower (which is Eau Tonique Fleur de Sureau) but I can't say I've seen it in local supermarkets. I would do as suggested above and take some Elderflower Cordial.
However, one lovely drink is the Non-alcoholic Mojito which is sold in most of the medium size upwards supermarkets (even Sprite do a version) - and mixed with Gin it's an absolute revelation!

Wow that means we may have to find another present for our friend near Le Mans who we stay with on our return journey :) We always arrive laden with G&T, if we haven't drunk it during the rest of the trip. Still, we have lots of quirky gins that she can't get in France
Although the price is a bit eye watering!
G&T is always our post set-up treat on the campsites, now we're using statics we may have to find another excuse!

Luckily I don't drink the stuff. I stick to the cider. You can sometimes get a 750ml own label bottle for a euro in Super U.
Failing that, wine.
The wife drinks G&T but normal tonic which she has sourced in lidl in France.
There is going to be a mark up as it is from abroad, same as bog standard French stuff gets sold a premium in the UK.
Much as I thought, we drink the cider and wine too but enjoy a g&t!
