Need a site for one night between Cherbourg and La Tranches sur. Mare for family of 4. We’re booked in to Camping club Brunelles on the Sunday but sail in to Cherbourg on Saturday AM so looking for any site recommendations along the Route from Cherbourg for one night. Any recommendations appreciated

No we haven’t done Mont St Michel, so this is an excellent idea. We haven’t taken the Cherbourg route before so the are us unchartered for us. Will look in to this, thanks

Is on the edge of the village, there are restaurants and fast food joints in walking distance. In the morning if the market is open look out for the mobile crepe stall, they do an amazing savoury wholemeal sausage crepe, soo yummy!

Can't recommend a site. But another suggestion for a town to visit.
Fougères - great castle (chateau), views, town & gardens. We were on our way up to the Ouistream ferry port and did an overnight stop at a cheap hotel and a visit to a town. Made a change from camping for us.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
