I have just checked with CC and there multi trip only covers up to 60 days each trip. I need breakdown and medical cover for 90 days plus. Also got some pre existing medical conditions I have always used Red Pennant before but they only cover 60 days at a time. I am looking for a company that will recover the car and van not leave it in France like the RAC does.

Thanks but the trouble I have is that I need insurance for 90 plus in Jan to April again in June and also for this Sept plus short mini trips to Europe.
How do people get insurance for 6 months at a time I really wanted muilt trip because I will always be taking out insurance policys.
Yes, as Tritonkid says, Saga will cover the motoring/breakdown side for 12 months, and then for personal/medical cover look at the long stay policies the young people take out when they go away - search on line for Backpacker policies when can also be for a full year.

Found AA breakdown cover for £250 for the year. Red pennant and others wanted in excess of £509 !! Medical insurance a nightmare I’m afraid, just don’t be ill !
As I said earlier, You can get 12 month medical insurance too - it's called Backpacker Insurance because it's aimed at the gap year youngsters - but you can have it too, at a price depending on your age and infirmity.
