Off to Vendee next week and the weather reports seem to be predicting increasingly drab weather.....but some forecast sites give a more favorable outlook than others. Can anyone recommend an accurate (as it can ever be) forecast site/app for France/Vendee please?

Unfortunately, even the most accurste forecast won't bring better westher! That's why the most experienced of us don't book. If the weather is bad in one area we can just head in a different direction.
I agree that MeteoFrance is generally the most accurate.
Ha-ha yes, unfortunately the opposite is true, BBC was giving me pretty fair weather with Meteo seemingly more grim. Unfortunately you’ve both confirmed (thank you) my suspicions that Meteo is probably more accurate but at least we’ll be more prepared! Sadly we knew we were taking a gamble when booking so far in advance but with the all singing kiddie type sites it means booking early. At least the kids will (hopefully) have a ball regardless!

The irony is that the BBC now use Meteo not the Met Office.
The safest indication is that the good weather will be where you are going to, or where you have come from; not at where you are.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
