This morning I’ve had a text from them saying my transaction had been declined because my magstripe payments has been locked to help prevent fraud because that facility hasn’t been used recently as we tend to use contactless. Again this is something I can unlock in my app but I think I will leave for the time being.

So, the question is will we get a bill through the post for this at a later date even though the barrier went up?!? I suppose the more worrying thing is, was the lady swiping certain cards for other purposes as you would have thought they would use contactless for ease and quickness!
