Hello! I'm Françoise, a little French froggie ,known as Frankie on most English forums I'm on. I'm a child minder... but.. in English and of course the toddlers I've brought up are bilingual when going to school.
At the moment I have a little 5 years old girl Rosie who has learnt English with me since she was 4 months old.
She might not be able to come this year during school hols, therefore I'd like to take her away in my motorhome to an English Campsite in FRANCE. Usually I don't care about facilities, I use my Hymer for every single need but with little Rosie with me, I want it children friendly, Nice shower blocks preferably adapted to colder weather, E.U. but not a real issue if not possible, not lost in the middle of nowhere... just in case Rosie doesn't feel well. Playground is a plus , but then again not an issue. The point is to get her speak and speak and speak ... ENGLISH only!I live next to Toulouse and the nearest campsite from my place the better. Thanks for all the help you can provide on the matter!!
You can see my work on my FB page, although it hasn't been updated for 3 years I think...Well, to say it all... since I became care giver ... Dad passed recently of Alzheimer, and I just had no time at all to update the Fb page. But will do it soon. Look for Baby's Clever France (I think you can reach it with at at BBclever) of course IF I'm allowed I will put the link on here. My point being to show you my work . Rosie was the only one I was allowed by Mum and Dad to film or have pics to be put on a public FB page.

do you work in the uk or in france? you offer a useful service in teaching a foreign language at an age when children 'soak up' language learning.
i dont know many english campsites in france and as an english tourist i guess i would avoid them because i want to soak up french, dutch and german culture rather than be subjected to the english culture i am trying to escape
my neighbours visit a special 'christian' campsite in the vendee in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie called Le Pas opton which i believe is predomenently english and english run but thats not near to you.
i am sure others will be able to better advise than me.
maybe you should come to the uk with your hymer, there are plenty of people who only speak english here.
good luck in your quest!

Thanks Jake ! Unfortunatly I still work and so have only 5 weeks off a year, hence me choosing a better option in terms of time and distance by finding in France a place full of English. Rosie's parents took her to England already, but when Nanny (me) is not there, Rosie goes very shy, and her parents being French ... with a terrible French accent, I'm not very keen on letting them talk to her.
Now of course there's also.... Brexit and who knows what's going to happen.

Thanks a lot! Might be worth a visit some other time but not this year as it closes mid october, and I intend to go away from the 18th to the 23rd of October. Also a bit far away from my place, but why not when on my own!I have bookmarked it!

This summer we stayed at a lovely campsite english owned and geared towards children. it is called moulin de geneste near uzerche.Appears in the cool camping guide.
Woohoo! Looks really good , especially for children and matches my plans as far as dates are concerned, and only 233 kms away from my place so GOODIE!!! Will deffo make further enquiries. I have a phone number so I will see if there's any chance to still find people on hols there.
Thanks a lot.
