We normally try to cross from Plymouth or Portsmouth but are looking at going from Newhaven to dieppe this yearhttps://www.franceferrybooker.co.uk/ferry-crossings/newhaven-dieppe
Has anyone used the crossing with DFDS. Any tips?
The first tip is that anyone over the age of 60 should not book on line or with an agency, but should phone the DFDS ferry company direct and ask for the 20% discount.

I booked a return trip Dieppe Newhaven in September, could not stand the thought of the time wasted queuing to load, loading, 4 hours on the old tub & then queuing to unload for the return journey. drove to Eurotunnel, on train and was home in Limoges 6 hours earlier even with the extra driving
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
