Which road maps would people recommend for trip across Europe to Croatia.   Have just bought AA European Route planner but feel it is not quite detailed enough for us to plan stops etc.

I prefer Michelin they show the width of the roads, plenty of others to choose from though.

Have a look at the Dash4it website. They are the 'go to' company for maps. They're also generally the cheapest.
