President Macron has just announced that from 15th December Over 65s will require proof of their Covid19 booster vaccination in order to access the Passe Sanitaire, otherwise testing will be required.
The Covid19 booster information does not appear in the NHS App - and this was their reply in response to a message:
"A domestic COVID Pass is generated for all users who have received a full course of an approved COVID vaccine - irrespective of whether or not they have received a booster vaccination. It is not necessary to demonstrate that you have received a booster dose as part of a domestic certification policy.
We are currently exploring whether and how boosters should be incorporated into the COVID Pass for Travel."
For anyone Over 65, and intending to travel to or through France after that date I would suggest you email the NHS team through the App itself, to ask when they intend to make this information available through the NHS App.

Same here but as I'm immunocompromised I had a 3rd vaccination instead of a booster and will need booster in the spring. still only the first two vaccinations on the QR codes but my 3rd jab in is my online record under 'vaccinations', not that that will help. I hope they sort this out before the beginning of next year.
Looking at my NHS app booster has been added to medical record but not to pass. Lack of update to pass has been in the national news so one would hope it will be rectified soon. All they have to do is add another QR code. Will a booster will be required every 6mnths ?

I don’t think the medics know yet, but there has been a suggestion that the Covid booster would become annual like the flu jab. I get both at the temporary vaccination centre at the same time tomorrow, one in each arm.
Like with our initial jabs back in March and May - and the covid tests we needed to visit the UK in August - our GP prints out the standard EU vaccination certificate complete with QR code etc as part of the process.
I emailed about this via the NHS App as suggested by Val A. and received the standard “we’re looking into it” answer (very impressed by the fast response though). Hopefully the more of us that email about it, the more quickly it will be sorted.
The government decided in August that those who are immunocompromised due to certain medications and treatments needed a 3rd jab this autumn and will need a further booster in the Spring, though they seem only to have got round to telling those affected by this very recently.
The reason given was that the immunity response to the vaccine in some of this group was less or wore off more quickly so they needed an extra shot to bring it back up to a more effective level.
This suggests that the effect of the vaccination does wear off so I suspect everyone will be getting at least one further jab next year and probably beyond.

At least they didn't say "We take covid boosting very seriously and your email was very important to us"
It seems to me, reading several websites, that this new French rule is aimed at French residents as they are eligible for the 3rd vax at 65. I can see nothing anywhere that says it will affect tourists. I suppose the only way to know for sure is to see if our QR codes work in the French app that checks that, after Dec.15th.

It will. No doubt about it. The French are very hot on 'compliance' and they were very quick to check our 'double vaccinations'.
Anyone who intends to travel in 2021 and 2022 should use the NHS App to emaile the team to let them know how important it is to get booster information on the NHS App as soon as possible. Without mass emails it's unlikely to happen.
As several people have asked, elsewhere, here's how you use the NHS App to contact the 'team'.
Open your NHS App, select the "three dots top right - For More", that will take you NHS App Help and Support , then scroll to "Contact the NHS Help Team" box. Open and it will give details on how to email with questions.
