From Simon Calder at the Independent

"The rules say: “Travellers (12 years old or more) have to provide the result of a negative PCR or antigen test (in paper or digital format) carried out less than 24 hours prior to departure.” But on 4 February a minister, Alexandre Holroyd, tweeted that the timeframe has been extended to 48 hours “with immediate effect”.

XVI yes?

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

I'm thinking the same; no point in getting into a sweat over it until travel is imminent (which, for us, means May).

For example Eurotunnel told me that they make available the facility to upload your test no more than 4 days prior to departure.

Their view was that it saves having to keep changing the instructions as the rules change

Thanks for this info "Big Roy"
We travel to France on 12th Feb so this gives us a little bit of extra time to do the antigen tests.
Well spoted.
