Defo book in advance, sometimes you can get an earlier crossing. One question, do you have a toll tag? If not and you going to use the autoroutes, then I'd recommend you get one. I have the ATMB Liber-t tag, so satisfying going through the non-stop toll lane with local driver gesticulating at you thinking your in the wrong lane.
