After too long away, this summer I am returning to France with my new husband, and my youngest (now 18!)
He’s never been to France beyond a couple of school trips to Normandy as a kid, so can’t wait to shop him my favourite places.
We’ve booked a gite nearish to Avignon for a fortnight in July, with the plan of introducing him to both Provence and the Ardeche, with trips to Nimes and Aigues-Mortes.
Can’t wait!

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Have a great time!
We are off next month. We managed to get through the red tape last Sept and had a couple of weeks, only up and down the Channel coast, but we had really good weather and loved every minute. Hope to get a bit further this time.

No idea where we'll go, looking at the weather forecast and deciding accordingly worked fine last time.
We're pretty much the same, we have a rough idea, we'll be sticking to the Atlantic coast but whether that means south-west towards Biarritz or west to Brittany depends entirely upon the weather. We'll be using aires, France Passion sites and the ACSI book.
Lovely to hear that you're going back to France, Amanda! Have a great time. We shall be setting off soon, back to our lovely little house in the Hautes Corbieres, but will be fitting in visits to our caravan in the Ardeche too!
Any news/experience on issues with P&O at the moment?
We are booked with DFDS on way out
But return is with P&O
I know its affecting ferries going from Dover, not sure about coming from Calais, even though that may sound a silly question
