Ask the Tourist Information for a walking route for the centre of Angers.

The cathedral is also worth a visit, the rosary windows are stunning!

There are red squirrels at the campsite with a swimming pool by the lake.
They are very beautiful but as soon as I moved to grab a camera they ran away.
Walking around the lake is very pleasant walk.
Not sure how to hire the canoes and sailing boats.

I did wonder about the train tours but getting the map will be cool.

I also wanted to see the apocalypse tapestries, but I did not know-about the contemporary tapestries, so we shall see if we can fit it in.
Troglodyte Museums, not really 'what floats my boats' but my OH may be interested.
