Has anyone been here? No intention of taking the caravan, but you can fly from Luton. (Lorraine Chase, eat your heart out). Costs/accomodation for 2/ car hire etc. Is the sea still warm in November, what are the beaches like? We like rocky coves, not long stretches of sand.

I have not been in November but in early December we had heavy snow in Kolasin. Its up in the mountains an hour or so drive from the coast and a great little ski resort. Most resorts on the coast will be deserted in November. The cheapest accommodation tends to be in private apartments in the villages but the big hotels do have the facilities and in November you could consider one of the spa therapy hotels which are open all year. Most of the beaches tend to be coves with just a couple of exceptions such as Jazz beach and Ada Bohinj. The Bradt Guide to Montenegro is a great source of information and contacts.

Thanks, maybe go next year sometime. We wouldn't consider a hotel.

It’s not very far from Dubrovnik and in mid October we had a fair bit of rain and fairly cool weather about 4 years ago. We also had 3 sunny days and the sea was lovely. It might be worth doing something last minute once you know weather forecast as I’m sure some years the weather would be fine in November.
