Hi, has anyone driven the main road south from Pau to Spain opposed to the motorway and can advise what it’s like? Thanks in advance

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

A popular and well used route via Somport tunnel. Scenic and winding but nor fast so assume average of 30 mph. Busy - but with fewer trucks on Sundays of course. Steeper up to tunnel on French than Spanish side
