LeShuttle, Eurotunnel's new name as informed to me via their maildrop, announced crossings can be booked up to September 2024!!!
In the past, crossings could only be booked up to 12 months in advance, and I would eagerly await for the prices for the coming year to be announced in Autumn around September/October time in order to get an early bird bargain.
I checked the prices for May 2024 crossings, and they have gone up, not entirely unexpected.

If you go to their site now, it mentions name change and tickets available up to September 2024.

Obviously something they have just introduced, because in January they were still doing the rolling six month thing..
They want your money in the pot sooner rather than later.
It does interest me as I would normally have to wait until mid January to be able to book, but would prefer to book Nov / Dec before the rise in price in January.

Inflation is dropping and it is to be expected that prices may drop. Cost of fuel has already dropped by about 30%. If you buy a ticket now and prices drop, it is unlikely that they will refund any difference. Your choice?

I am not going to book until the campsites I have in mind start accepting bookings for May 2024 - 2 out of 3 sites responded to say I have to wait until this year's season is over towards the end of the year!
I shall monitor the prices to see how much they fluctuate, and I do that for intercontinental flights too!
