The Rugby World Cup is on in France during September and October with matches taking place in both Nice and Marseille as well as elsewhere so you may find that the area is quite a bit busier than in a “normal” year

That's useful to know at kenren I always find big international sporting events bring people together on a campsite, so that's nice, even though I'm not into the rugby.

I'll never forget the wifi going down on a French campsite during a Belgium / France match in a World Cup once - major drama! Everyone pegged it to a local bar at half time.
