Of course you have to buy it, then you use a faraday pouch to stop the signal from being picked up.

Take heed: we had an issue at Strasbourg peage whereby Mastercard wasn't being accepted??? Luckily the guy on the end of the help button could understand my shoddy French and we finally got it sorted but...tags for me in future (after stressing at all subsequent peages).
