As it has been 3 - 4 years since we've been to Brittany I have lost track of a number of prices! Could anybody give me an approximate price to exchange a 907 cylinder in a supermarket.
I am aware that prices will vary depending on the supermarket but just a typical price is all I would like.
Thanks in advance.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Look up some of the major supermarket websites, prices are normally there.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!

Yes I did have a look around before posting, but only found the cost of new, full cylinders. Having continued looking, I've now found that Mr Bricolage charges €34.90 for an exchange so I guess others will be around this price.
Thanks again!
Couple of years back, did consider taking a Campingaz 907 as a 'backup' cylinder to my main Flogas cylinder which I couldn't get refilled in France, and did a bit of pre-trip research, mostly for where to obtain a refill, but also checking prices, quite surprised on the decline in availability over last time I took a 907 to France a few years before.
It did appear that the Campingaz cylinders had been significantly usurped by larger capacity (Calor equivalent) type cylinders that were commonly available in one form or another, don't recall actually seeing a 907 in the few shops/garages we visited, did look out of casual interest, but not actively hunting for one though.
Whilst much cheaper in France than UK, I suspect their hugely uncompetitive £/€/Kg pricing compared to rival larger cylinders is driving people away from them and stockist finding a diminishing demand!
BTW, took a suitcase stove (disposable cartridges) instead of 907 as backup for eventuality of large Flogas cylinder getting too low.
Pretty sure you'll find them, but maybe a bit more limited than in the past, and as to price, maybe more like MRP than discounted. - Still likely much cheaper than UK though!
We ran out of calor gas whilst in France last year (amateurish error of forgetting to check!) fortunately already had a campingaz pigtail from a few years ago so got a new 907 from Hyper U, cost was €60ish exchanges were about €35ish

Yes it would seem €35 is the approx. going rate.
We carry 2 907s when we visit France for several weeks in June and July. We never replace them in the UK as they are too expensive. We didn't need a replacement last year, but in 2023 we paid under E25 at hyper U in Agde, only a few Euros more than the pre lockdown price, (2019). I wonder what I might have to pay this Summer!

Just as a side note...we've just come back from Alsace and Hauts France. Luckily we didn't need a refill of our 904 (and have started taking a spare) but did notice a lack of them in supermarkets. In previous years they were easy to spot so maybe, as someone earlier said, there aren't as many around now?
