It all depends when you are going- bar, restaurant, and shop all open on site at campsite possible only in July/August . A quick look on Campsite Search on here shows me one with those amenities in July/August but Ican’t recommend a site I have never been to.
Worth having a look at acsi eurocampings - their detailed facility listings show when facilities such as bars and restaurants at particular sites are open. You can search by region so should be able to pinpoint some nearby - I will say thought that this area is very geared to the July/Aug trade so you may not find much choice with all facilities open.
Regards Puy de Foy , you really need more than one day as the timings for shows and distance between them make it difficult to see everything , also if attending the night show plan wether to leave for food , then return which is possible if you tell them you are returning later . But I’m sure you will have done your planning , as adults we found it was truly enjoyable .
yes we went years ago when the kids were little, remember being very tired driving back to st jean de monts, hence why we want to stay close by this time

This one does not have a bar but is very nice and you can just take your own alcohol.
It is very close to Puy du Fou and you can get back in time in the evening for a lovely cooling down swim.
Has very clean and modern toilet block and lovely big pitches, shaded and part shaded next to a river.
Coded gate so you can still get in if late, or leave early is required.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
