We will probably never have an EV unless someone decides to give us one. New ones are many times what we could ever afford, and even suitable used ones are still way out of reach. I'm really not sure about used ones anyway because of my concerns over battery life. Range wouldn't be much of an issue as we rarely do very long journeys anyway and we could easily charge one at home. It's the initial cost that is the problem for us, as even a set of batteries would currently cost far more than I usually pay for a car.
In all probability the only EV I will ever own will be a mobility scooter.

Colin
