We have taken the decision to stop storing our caravan in France, as it is no longer the most convenient option for us now we are getting older and have dogs to consider.
However, if anyone is looking to store in France, we can 100% recommend the secure, indoor storage we have just left, between Angers and Cholet, at around 200 euros a year.
Our caravan was left there without moving for 2 years during Covid, and although a little dusty on the outside, was just as we had left it when we came to collect it for our next holiday.
Although the storage is not on a campsite, it is only 10 minutes away from a delightful municipal site by the Loire, at St. Florent-le-Vieil, or 20/25 minutes from a full facility site at Montjean-sur-Loire, if that is your preference.
If anyone would like further details, please get in touch and I will be only too happy to provide them.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Sorry to see you go bofs ... we are still there ...
Interesting your comment re 'dust' ... is why we always cover ours when stored there, but notice that nobody else does.
With the considerable movement of vans in and out, and given a good concrete floor ... there's bound to be some dust creation ...
We been there for well over ten years now, and it remains superlative value and a perfect gateway for either the south or the Loire valley.
