Hi all. We are off to France on Tuesday for a month in the motorhome. We really want to go back to the idyllic Ile de Re (just off La Rochelle) again. Last year, we went out of season and stayed at the best site we've ever been on - Camping Interlude. I have tried to book again - for four nights, as we are on the move - BUT... as it's peak season, they will only allow us to book for a whole week!

Can any of you recommend a really good site on Ile de Rey that won't expect such a long stay? By 'good', I want super clean facilities, a big pitch (with electricity. water and waste water and a private barbeque if possible), also, a private beach as well as restaurant and shop facilities on site... Thanks

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
