Please can someone tell me which type of regulators that they use  in France to attach to gas cylinders. Do we need to take this with us?

hi,

if you get french gas you will need to get the regulator in france. i dont think you hire them, you have to buy them.

or get a gaz bottle or 2 from the local dump (about £3.00 each) that you can get exchanged in a lot of places.

We bought a "Cubi" last year and got a free "easy on" regulator with it.  They're available at most petrol stations, supermarkets and even small local stores.  The Cubi is a square plastic gas bottle which makes it much easier to pack away and it takes up less space.  The regulator just pushes onto the top of the bottle.  The french for regulator is "detendeuse"
