Has anyone used TransEuropa Ferries from Ramsgate to Ostend? They have asked for full details of our date of birth, place of birth and passport No. Is this in order?

not used them and not actually been asked those questions but there are always a lot of fairly in-depth questions, and ferry companies always check passports etc before they let you board, so, not surprised the questions are getting more personal.

Have been trying to find out about this crossing. Phoned them last week just for a quote(car & caravan) so they didn't ask for any personal details.Don't really fancy the extra mileage but they were offering a good saving. Was hoping some-one here would have done the same route.
