Hi Joanne, welcome to UKCS.
Not camped in Kenya, but have in Gambia, see my website above. When we've been in camp we have seen huge monitor lizards, the green vervat monkeys jump up & down on the tin roofs of the huts at night, you can hear the hippos grunting gently as they float past and the beady eye of a croc can often be seen first thing in the morning at the river's edge. And the screaming cacophany of the chimpanzees on Baboon Island - we love it and go as often as funds will allow.
