Hi

We are thinking of taking our caravan to the channel Islands next august , and are wondering what sort of prices are we looking at for next years ferries.( looking to go from weymouth

 

Can anyone recommend whats good in the channel islands?weather ,food ,etc,etc

 

Can anybody also recommend any sites , I have read the reviews  and cannot decide.

stick ferries into Google and you will find some prices.  Dont think you can take vans to Guernsey and I know the roads in Jersey are quite narrow most of the time.

Weather generally very good, usually sunnier than here.  coast is meant to be very pretty.

If i read the C&CC carefree brochure correctly you are allowed to take caravans to both Gurnsey & Jersey but you must have a booked pitch and you are only allowed to tow while travelling from ferry to site and vice versa.

Reading between the lines it is probably that they dont want any "travellers".
