Hi, haven't been here in a while because we have all but stopped camping, circumstances made it difficult for us. However, I still have my little tent and am planning to visit Le Mans for the MotoGP in May.
Requirements are relatively simple, the most important of which is location. We need to be as close to the Le Mans circuit as possible, walking distance would be ideal. Other than that, all we require is a relatively quiet site (don't mind a bit of noise) with Shower facilities.
There will be at least two groups, one Motorcycle+ one person+one tent. The other group will be One People carrier+ one adult+ one child+ one tent. No elec needed, just decent toilets and decent showers.
Oh, and obviously priced Within reason.
Does anybody know of or experienced such a site? or even know where I can get details, I have tried the search on here and came up empty. I do know you can camp at the circuit, but I have read that tickets for camping are hard to come by this close to the event and also only two sites are really suitable, the others being rather hectic.
Any advice would be welcomed.

Thanks for the advice, I did have a look and the site looks lovely. Unfortunately it is nearly 50miles away from the circuit and we were hoping for something a little closer.
Whats annoying is you can actually camp at the circuit, but I can't find a site that gives me information on obtaining tickets for the camping!. They only help with regards the 24hr car race.
Hi Floydfan, I had tried that site, a very good site it is too. But after your link, I decided to give it another read. I came across a number for the circuit that was for English speakers, which although the number was wrong, it set me on the right path. I have now found the info I was after with regards camping at the circuit, which is a possibility because it is free!, however, I would still appreciate anybody who reccommend a site or area to search that is only about 10-15miles from the circuit.
cheers.

Thanks for all the links and advice. We decided not to take the free camping at the circuit offer (because there are some young'uns going), but have found a place that provides campsite, food, shelter, pitch, transport to circuit and entry tickets for what we think is a fair price considering the hassle it'll save.
