Anyone been to the above campsite in July/August time? Was it suitable for a beach holiday, and were the waterslides enough to amuse a 10 and 8 year old?
If you did which crossing would you recommend?
View please good or bad!

i think you must be talking about a different campsite by the same name....cuz it deff has a slide and a sandy beach near by thats what i get for looking for a common camp site name

We are looking in the Vendee area for a site with good sized pitches, walking distance to a town, which should have some restaurants, walking distance to a nice beach for 8 & 10 year olds and at lease one water slide or water shoot in the pool area.
As Mrs. BB said we have only found Les Ecuruiles at St Hiliare De Ritz which ticks all our requirements so far.
We stayed a year agon for 7 days . The site itself is ok. The pool gets very busy and if you wnat to go to the beach you have to cross the road. Make sure you get a pitch well back from reception as it can be noisy.
It was ok for our stop on the way back from tjhe main holiday in Baritz but would be a bit "in your " face for 3 weeks .
