Not been to that site, but Valras Plage is nice. If you get chance, visit Beziers. Great town to wander around the old quarter. Also St. Martin de Londres up back in the Herault Gorge for pottery & stuff. Don't miss a trip to Des Grottes Demoiselles (The fairy caves). You'll see leaflets for it. It's well worth the drive up there. The caves are magnificent, like something out of Lord of the Rings! Don't confine yourself to site/beach while you're there, Languedoc/Herault has some stunning scenery to explore. A must see also is the village of St. Guilhem le Desert. Look for it on the map, explore the Herault Gorge, swim in the river, or hire canoes. It is simply stunning. Enjoy!
