Hi,

Have booked two sets of two weeks here (via Alanrogersdirect.com-highly recommended) and was just wondering if anyone has stayed here??

In particular,is the beach closest to the campsite very "surfy",in the same kind of way that Woolacombe or Sennen are,for example?

Don't know whether to take our bodyboards,as space will be tight on this first French adventure!!

Thanks for any help.

Tony

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

We haven't stayed on this site, but had a look around it when we were in Brittany last year, and spent a day on the nearest beach. The camp site looked gr8 - def on our list to visit and the beach was beautiful - white sand and picturesque. That area of Brittany is really lovely. It is just a stroll from the campsite to the beach. Unfortunately I can't remember if there were waves for bodyboarding. It certainly wasn't a Newquay type surf, and we didn't have our bodyboards with us. Sorry I can't remember more.

We didnt stay at this site but as it was our second choice went to look at it when we were there - 1st 2 weeks of August. Site is in a lovely area - with great big field you walk thro to get to cliff and down onto a long curvy beach - very scenic - great for kite flying in the field but no surf at all when we were there - could just have been a calm day? The site itself was Very busy - and I mean busy - pitches were very close to each other and in some sections ropes literally touched neighbours tents - some sections were marked out - Eurocamp had a nice row or 2 but are impression overall was that it was cramped. There was one section at the end which was like a separate mini field where tents were more spaced out. Motor home pitches looked better.Pool area looked nice but again was busy but we are talking probably the busiest week of the year. Nevez is a really lovely part of Brittany. Sure you will have a great time what ever.
