According to my Lonely Planet Guide book it is possibe to camp in your own tent or caravan at Disneys Davy Crockett Ranch at Disneyland paris.  I have just been through their website & it makes no mention of this only for you hire log cabins etc. 

Has anyone been or know if it is possible to camp there, of so how much?

We have stayed there in a log cabin. I think your guide may be wrong as there were no sign of any tents or caravans!

I read somewhere that the site had closed to campers.  It was VERY expensive anyway!

I too remember reading that it had closed for campers.  We looked at a few years back when they did take tourers and it was VERY EXPENSIVE.  We opted for Des Quatre Vents site near to Euro Disney.  That is a very pleasant site which has often featured on this website and you should find the posts if you do a search.  Might be written as Des 4 Vents.

I beleive it was closed because of fire safety as it is in woods.  There was a fire and it got quite hairy for the campers.  That was a few years ago now.

We took our caravan about 3 years ago and it turned out to be the last week tourers where being allowed. All the touring pitches were being converted into the "log cabin" type homes. A pity really as it was a great place to stay even though it was expensive.
