Hi
We have looked at booking a week on Beausejour Serignan from 1/7/06. Doens any have an experiance of the site and things to do in the region. On the second week we move up to Annecy .
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Hi Brad,
Not been to this particular site but we did stay at Serignan Plage campsite last August. The beach was excellent although very windy at times.
Serignan was a short drive away from the beaches and although we didn't really go there it looked quite interesting to walk around.
Beziers also looked lively in the evening with a central town square with plenty going on, but again we only drove through it on our way to our campsite.
We tended to drive into Valas Plage for the evening if we left the site (which we didn't do much as there was so much going on, on site). The family next to us on site went to Carcassonne (a walled town) for the day and said it was really good.
I would go to this area again, but I did find the area a bit tatty looking and you had to drive to wherever you wanted to go as there was nothing much within walking distance of our site.
You only really go to this end of the Med for (almost) guarranteed sunshine July/Aug--the scenery is rubbish really--unless you camp at Serignan-Plage Nature--which is a naturist site--
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
