can anyone recommend some sites with beach access?
Preferably not too large! Not fussed about entertainment, though would like to be able to walk to the beach. This is our first time towing in france, so any recommendations will be helpful. Not sure about what areas to go to either, though we are going for 2 weeks and intend to do 5 sites-we like variety!
Cheers all

La Vallee in Normandy. Website: www.campinglavallee.com. About 5 minute walk to a lovely, clean beach with several playgrounds on the beach for the kids to play in. There is also children's entertainment on site during July and August.
The site is also used by the likes of Keycamp, Eurocamp.
Best beaches in France imho are on the South West coast-in the region of Aquitaine--I know several campsites with beach access--they are naturist tho--do you want the websites?--

We've stayed at Baie d'Aunis in La Tranche sur Mer, Charante Maritime about 6 times now. The drive is not too strenuous from Cherbourg & we even wild camped on the beach near Mont St Michel once on the way down...lovely.
It's a small, very clean 4 star site with great swimming pool & good value pizzeria. Pretty quiet too up to the end of June. It's very nearly on the beach with just a short walk across a car park.
We are keen on the site as it offers excellent access for us windsurfers.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
