Can anyone recommended a site in the Loire Valley?

I can think of one or two people who will be along soon.

Better be good we are going this August our first time in France. Going on recomendations from UKCS Members.

We have stayed at L'Étang de la Brèche in Saumur for the past 2 years and it is a good campsite and plenty to do on site,but this year we are going to Le Chant d’Oiseau which is near Mouliherne.

Where ever you go in The Loire Valley you will love it.

My all time fave site is la Vallee des Vignes near Saumer.  It's a beautiful site, well laid out, the loo blocks are imaculate, the pool is lovely and there is a bar.  They have a kids club for a couple of hours in the morning so mum and dad can wander round the market, or whatever, and they have some entertainement in the evenings.  There is a kids play area and lots of other play things to do.
