Camping Cap Natur in St. Hilaire de Riez

Hello folks.

Has anyone ever used this site or know of any sites where we might obtain reviews on this site. Their own web site it looks good but would like to hear from visitors themselves.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

John,

We were there for 5 days in April this year and rated it as a good site that we will return to.

At the time of our visit there was some updating going on (new security barriers/reception area etc)

Our only gripe was that the showers could have been warmer. In April it was quite chilly in the mornings but this should not be a problem in the summer. There was a choice of shady pitches in the woods or more open sunny ones. The indoor pool with free jacuzzi and sauna was excellent. The weather wasn't quite warm enough for us to try the outdoor pool but it was a good size with large sunbathing areas.

The on site restaurant was reasonable value/quality. In season there is also a small shop. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby.

If you can avoid July and August they take Camping Cheques which give you a full facility site for a tenner a night.

Many thanks Balckrat

For taking the time to reply. Sadly we will not be able to take advantage of the camping cheques, but glad to hear you speak well of it.

Happy holilday

We are thinking of going to this site in September, so I too would be interested to hear any comments from people who have been there.
